November 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm
Fujiko Signs worked as a market research consultant, and taught Japanese language and literature at community colleges and universities across the United States. In her mid-thirties, Fuji fell ill. As soon as she started reading about Christian Science, a prayer-based system of healing, she was healed of various stress-related illnesses. Now a full-time practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing, Signs speaks internationally as a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
Musical Prelude at 1:30 pm featuring Jay and Tessa Frost
Tessa and Jay met at church in Seattle, WA and shortly thereafter began performing music together. Their collaboration grew to include writing vocal solos based in Scripture and tailored to Christian Science church services. In 2012, the duo released “Soulshine”, a collaboration of their original solos—many of which they have gone on to sing as guest musicians for services at The First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston, MA, as well as at TMC Youth Summits, lectures, and various other music events. They arranged and recorded two hymns for the Celebrations compilation album available in Christian Science Reading Rooms, and Jay composed one of the hymns in the new 2017 Christian Science hymnal. Recording and sheet music of their songs are available online at Watchfire Music.
