Come and enjoy the new 2017 Christian Science Hymnal! This new hard-bound hymnal continues on where the 1932 and the 2008 hymnals left off! Nine years in the making, the 2017Hymnal brings us 173 new hymns to sing, pray and embrace!

The 2017 Hymnal is regarded as a continuation or expansion of the 1932 Hymnal, which numbers hymns from 1 to 429.

The 2017 Christian Science Hymnal continues that process by numbering the new hymns from 430 to 603.

Please note that this bound volume includes the hymns from the spiral-bound smaller 2008 Christian Science Hymnal Supplement — they have been re-numbered in the tradition of alphabetizing the hymns by first lines.

Now you can finally sing these hymns — including the selections you have been listening to on the Celebration CD, a preview of some of the hymns from the new Hymnal. The Celebration CD can be found in the Reading Room.

The new 2017 Christian Science Hymnals are in the pew racks NOW!

To quote Hymn #577, come “Sing a New New Song” with us at the Christian Science Wooster Church!

Sing A New New Song
Words paraphrased from the Psalms by Robert Rockabrand
Music by Robert Rockabrand

Sing a new, new song unto the Lord
And come into His courts with joyful voice
Bless theLord our God
In His presence come with song
Stand before the Lord and rejoice

Hallelujah!
Hallelujah sing!
Sing Hallelu,
Hallelujah, sing and praise the Lord!

Enter through His gates with thankful hearts,
And praise Hime with the timbrel, dance and harp
All the earth now sing
Come and praise His wondrous works
Sing to God ye sun, moon and stars

Hallelujah!
Hallelujah sing!
Sing Hallelu,
Hallelujah, sing and praise the Lord!

Sing unto the Lord, oh all ye lands
And make HIs praise resound from shore to shore
Sing a new, new song,
Let the nations all exalt
Praise His holy name evermore

Hallelujah!
Hallelujah sing!
Sing Hallelu,
Hallelujah, sing and praise the Lord!
